About Us

EELAC emerged, in large part, as a result of long standing relationships between the University of Michigan ENGAGE team and the Detroit community. For over 20 years, the team served on task forces, facilitated learning communities, and worked alongside the community on a variety of projects. These long standing relationships and deep knowledge of the community were critical elements in the formation of EELAC.
